My client is an ambitious and dynamic business, who are recruiting an organised and proactive Administrator to join their busy team on a temporary basis to cover a period of maternity leave for circa 18 months. After completion of a successful temporary period you will transfer of to a fixed term contract for the duration of the remaining requirement where you will be entitled to company benefits including 26 day annual leave plus 8 bank holidays. The role should provide a quite varied workload, where no two days are quite the same.

Responsibilities and duties will include, but not limited to:

  • Provide administrative support to ensure smooth operations.
  • Answer and direct incoming telephone calls promptly and professionally.
  • Schedule and coordinate maintenance bookings for the relevant team.
  • Oversee vehicle maintenance, including tires, MOTs, services, and repairs.
  • Manage the procurement of materials as requested.
  • Oversee the distribution and maintenance of uniforms.
  • Organise and maintain filing systems for easy access and retrieval.
  • Provide refreshments for guests and manage the coffee machine.
  • Ensure the office remains tidy and presentable at all times.
  • Provide basic support for IT issues.

Skills and Experience

  • The ideal candidate will have worked in a similar administrator role
  • Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure
  • Outstanding organisational and diary management skills.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, particularly Excel and Teams.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • A friendly and confident manner.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Own transport will be required due to location.
