Our client is a successful and growing manufacturing business based in Telford; they are looking for an experienced Account Manager to join their team in Telford on a permanent basis. This role will focus on one of the company’s specialist divisions and requires strong customer engagement and technical expertise.

Account Manager Responsibilities and duties will include, but not limited to:

  • Build and maintain relationships with customers, handling enquiries both over the phone and in person.
  • Interpret and analyse production drawings to provide accurate estimates.
  • Prepare detailed quotations using quoting templates based on drawings and ensure timely responses to customers.
  • Work closely with the production team to ensure high-quality output and on-time delivery.
  • Collaborate effectively within a team to meet business and customer needs.
  • Running jobs though from order, production to delivery
  • Working to order deadlines
  • Ability to communicate with management and co-workers is crucial

Skills and Experience

  • Previous experience in account management or a similar customer-facing role.
  • Ability to read and break down production drawings for estimating purposes.
  • Required to produce a detailed quote from the drawings and return this back to the customer on time
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent numerical and analytical skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with both customers and internal teams.
  • Experience in the manufacturing or construction sector is advantageous but not essential.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Be able to work well as part of a team
