Lindsay lands a permanent job

A Telford woman was so successful in a temporary work placement that the company has offered her a permanent job.

Lindsay Parker has a strong manufacturing background and she turned to Prince Personnel, in Telford, looking for temporary work after a short period of unemployment.

The placement they found her has now led to her new job with a market leading packaging manufacturer in the town.

Not only that, but Prince Personnel have now named Lindsay as the latest winner of their Temp of the Quarter award.

Amanda Anderson, who is Prince Personnel’s technical vacancies consultant, said: “Lindsay has been an exemplary candidate from the very start and right through her temporary placement.

“I am really pleased she has been offered a permanent role and I am sure she will become a key member of the business moving forward.”

In her temporary role, Lindsay quickly established an excellent reputation and made a fantastic impression both in the local office and at the company’s international headquarters.

The management team encouraged her to apply for the permanent position when it came up in the quality department, and Lindsay is now a fully-fledged member of staff.

The company said: “Lindsay joined us at a turbulent time for the department but she shone through and has devoured all the challenges we’ve presented to her. She is always courteous and willing to do what is asked of her.

“Lindsay is a brilliant team player and an asset to any business. Her permanent role is truly deserved and she’s a great example of the high standard of candidates supplied by Prince Personnel.”

The Temp of the Quarter Award was created by Prince Personnel to recognise temporary staff who stand out from the crowd and each team member nominates a candidate on the agency’s books who they feel deserves the title.

In honour of Lindsay’s success, the company will make a donation to her chosen charity – Macmillan Cancer Support.
