Our client, Action Tours of Telford, needed a temporary member of staff to support their business creating inventive and affordable tailor-made group holidays during their peak season.
Donna was one of several candidates that were interviewed at short notice, securing the role because of her existing skills and industry experience.
Mark, Office Manager of Action Tours said he was impressed with Donna’s great work ethic, reliability and flexibility which was crucial to the company through its peak season.
Having now helped Action Tours throughout their busiest time of the year, Donna has agreed to stay on a part time basis as a tour administrator during the quieter season with a view to picking her hours back up again when things get busy.

What is your current position?
I’m a tour administrator for Action Tours.
How did Prince Personnel help you prepare for this role?
Prince Personnel contacted me about a temporary position and gave advice helping me to get prepared for my interview. Within minutes of my interview I knew Action Tours is where I wanted to be, so as soon as I got home I phoned Amy at Prince Personnel so excited about my interview, and I asked is there anything else I can do because I really wanted to secure the role.
What’s your Top Tip for securing a good temp job?
Always listen, ask questions and be eager to learn.
How did you feel about winning Temp of the Quarter and what did you win?!
I feel very honoured! I had seen others win on Prince Personnel’s website and so I was pleasantly surprised when I got nominated. When I found out I won I was really surprised and so happy! I chose a hamper of different chocolate goodies which I am sharing with my colleagues.

What’s next for me, is to keep learning and continue on my personal development journey.
